Spalding University Sponsors Radio Program

Spalding University announces Campus Connection, a weekly, half-hour radio talk show airing weekly on Saturday afternoons at 3pm on WGTK 970am. The program focuses on the many components of higher education and is designed to help listeners navigate the educational landscape better.

“This is primarily a way we can take the lead and share very helpful information with individuals of all ages seeking to enter or re-enter the college environment,” says program host Rick Barney.  “A secondary benefit is that we can promote Spalding in a unique and fresh way, allowing the listeners to become acquainted with the many people who make up the Spalding community.”

As the sponsor of the program, faculty, staff and students from Spalding University will be featured regularly. However, guests from other institutions and organizations will also be featured in an effort to share comprehensive information from varying perspectives.
