Annual Baseheart Panel to be held Thursday April 21

The School of Liberal Studies is sponsoring its annual Baseheart Panel Discussion on Thursday April 21 from 10:00-11:30 am in the ELC Lectorium. This event is being coordinated with the Spalding Green Initiative in celebration of Earth Week.
The topic is Urban Agriculture, and there will be three speakers:
- Gary Heine, Co-owner, Heine Brothers’ Coffee, Co-founder, Louisville Sustainability Forum, Breaking New Grounds and 15Thousand Farmers;
- Steve Vice, VP for Business Development, Dismas Charities, Co-founder of 15Thousand Farmers;
- Peter Thiong, Garden Coordinator, YouthBuild Louisville.
Following the Panel Discussion, There will be a Poetry Reading, in celebration of Earth Week, at 11:30.
