Business Management

The business management concentration gives you the flexibility to select three electives in management, marketing or accounting in order to complete your business degree. When you graduate, you’ll be prepared with the knowledge and skills to make an impact in a variety of business and management careers.

Program of Study

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Business Management Concentration requires a total of 127 credit hours to complete the program of study. These hours include:

University Studies – 55 credit hours
Business Core – 39 credit hours
Business Management Concentration – 18 credit hours
General Electives – 15 credit hours

Career Opportunities

A degree in business administration can lead to careers in a variety of organizations in areas such as:

  • Management
  • Sales
  • Customer Service
  • Entry level jobs in business

Minor in Business Administration

Students in majors other than Business Administration may minor in Business. The Business minor requires a total of 18 credit hours including Principles of Accounting 1 and 2, Principles of Management, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and Principles of Marketing.

Associate of Arts in Business Administration

An associate degree in business is also offered by the School of Business.  The associate degree requires a total of 64 credit hours including 34 hours in University Studies, 21 hours in Business, 3 hours of required support courses and 6 hours of general electives.
