Marketing
As the first University in Kentucky to offer marketing with a digital focus, Spalding’s business degree with a marketing concentration prepares you with current, up-to-date digital marketing principles in a core marketing curriculum. You will learn marketing fundamentals combined with topics such as search engine marketing, social media marketing, mobile marketing, and internet advertising.
The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Marketing Concentration requires a total of 127 credit hours to complete the program of study. These hours include:
University Studies – 55 credit hours
Business Core – 39 credit hours
Marketing Concentration – 12 credit hours
Required Support Courses – 9 credit hours
General Electives – 9 credit hours

The marketing field covers a broad range of career paths, from the creative to the analytical, in both traditional and modern areas of business. A business degree with a marketing concentration can lead to a career in:

Minor in Marketing
Students in majors other than Business Administration may minor in Marketing. The minor in marketing requires 18 credit hours including Principles of Marketing, Marketing Research, Consumer Behavior, Strategic Marketing and two electives.
