Kosair Charities’ Enabling Technologies of Kentuckiana, is a division of the Auerbach School of Occupational Therapy.
Enabling full participation in life
While technology is constantly changing, enTECH’s vision of promoting and fostering independence and the potentiality of all persons by providing creative technology solutions remains constant. The program has a 23 year history of adaptation and growth concentrated upon meeting the needs of the local, regional, and state alternative technology access needs for individuals, groups, and populations in our society who otherwise might not reach their full potential. The integration and linkage of the Auerbach School of Occupational Therapy (ASOT) and enTECH advances assistive technology educational opportunities for current and future practitioners while working with consumers to provide creative technology solutions that enhance participation in everyday life activities. enTECH moved to the Spalding campus in October 2004 and became part of the Auerbach School of Occupational Therapy in January 2006. enTECH has numerous programs and services to assist individuals who require alternative ways of participating in educational, community living, and activities of daily living. enTECH allows individual the opportunity to live life to the fullest.
