Spalding University is proud to have entered into an affiliation agreement with the Kentucky School of Art. This affiliation agreement will expand the artistic offerings available to all Spalding students. The Kentucky School of Art is located in Teilhard Hall in the heart of the Spalding campus. In addition, the Kentucky School of Art has recently expanded into additional studio and showroom space located across the street from Teilhard Hall at 849 South Third Street. The highly qualified KSA faculty members have been employed by Spalding University to deliver instruction in these studio art courses, augmenting the offerings of Spalding’s School of Liberal Studies.

Spalding University offers a BA in Interdisciplinary Humanities with a Concentration in Art. Under the leadership and direction of Spalding University, this degree program was developed with input from the staff of the Kentucky School of Art. The Kentucky School of Art provides Spalding University significant financial support in its provision of an academic major in Interdisciplinary Humanities with a Concentration in Art. For students interested in non-credit art instruction, such opportunities are available directly through the Kentucky School of Art and are exclusive of the Spalding University Academic Curriculum.
Spalding University is fully accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award degrees at the associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s, specialist’s, and doctoral levels.
