Spalding’s BSSW program, established in 1977, is the oldest accredited undergraduate social work program in metropolitan Louisville.
Full or part time study is available and offered in a format that gives students the opportunity for intensive study while still maintaining their jobs and their roles as partner, parent or just concerned/active community member! Spalding’s unique six-week format allows students to concentrate their efforts on no more than two classes each session. |
| Students graduate from the BSSW program with skills in interviewing, intake and referral, intervention planning, case management, crisis intervention, community outreach, advocacy and research.
Our goal is simple: to provide excellence in education so that you can provide excellence to your community! We genuinely believe we can change the world…one social worker at a time! Using social justice as our framework, students prepare for careers in direct generalist practice in many different settings including
