Irish Coffee

The Spalding Society and Spalding Alumni Association are hosting their 28th Annual Irish Coffee to benefit student scholarships. It will be held in Spalding University’s Mansion at 851 S. Fourth Street on March 5th from 10am-Noon, with mass beforehand at 9:15am. Tickets are $20 pp in advance or $25 at the door, which includes 2 drink tickets, delicious food and door prizes. Enjoy the music of the Guilderoy-Byrne Band and take part in a silent auction to benefit students traveling to Ireland in Spring 2012. For more info or to reserve your spot, call 502-585-7103. Spalding Receives Catholic Charities USA Centennial Medal

“Catholic Charities USA (CCUSA), the 100-year-old social service network working to reduce poverty in America, has presented specially-commissioned Centennial Medals to Catholic schools of social work in recognition of their deep commitment to the vision and mission of the organization. The awards were presented during Catholic Charities USA’s 2010 Centennial Celebration.”

Congratulations to Carol Wochenko, Graduate of Spalding’s PsyD Program

On Thursday, September 16, Spalding University graduate Carol Wochenko was presented with a Command Sergeant Major (CSM) coin by James Richardson, CSM.  These coins are given as honorary awards for services or accomplishments that significantly assist or support Army functions, services, or operations and show appreciation for superior work ethic.  Carol was recognized for outstanding individual achievements.
