This program is designed for kids and teens with ASD ages 12 – 16 years of age who like computers.
The 2 day program has a limited enrollment of 10 participants and is designed to provide a positive engaging environment for developing or advancing each participant’s digital media skills and abilities. Learning and developing visual media – digital storytelling, digital imaging, digital scrapbooking, gaming, and other media programming using software such as Adobe, Apple, Google, Microsoft and other programs will occur. Pre-program communication with the participants and family members will occur in order to design a compassionate participant centered environment aimed at assuring each participant’s unique needs are incorporated into the program design.
Each participant will have one-on-one coaching by Spalding University students and enTECH’s professional staff. Innovative approximation computers and iPads with digital media apps are part of the workplace environment within enTECH’s learning lab.
Each participant will receive a Spalding University certificate of completion at the end of the workplace experience!
