Spalding University and the Diversity Consciousness Action Group presents internationally renowned Chinese American documentary filmmaker, author, poet and educator, Lee Mun Wah on Thursday, November 1st for an ALL staff/faculty diversity workshop (Unlearning Racism in Schools) and a Community Movie Viewing of If These Halls Could Talk followed by a facilitated conversation.
One of the most popular seminars, Unlearning Racism in Schools provides a forum for participants to discover the conscious and unconscious ways in which racism permeates our attitudes and behaviors in our schools and in our relationships with each other. Participants will receive information on how to successfully communicate cross culturally as well as how to listen and respond effectively in stressful and conflictual situations involving diversity issues.
