Make a difference in the world. In our social work program, you will engage directly with the community where you live, learn and work to impact and improve lives. Through service learning and field placements, you will have an opportunity to connect to the community and gain a greater understanding of the world and your place in it. You will learn to advocate for the underserved and for those who cannot speak out for themselves. Our dedicated faculty is tireless in collaborating on community projects and getting students involved in making real differences in the community. Not only will your role in these projects help others rise up, it will also translate to connections and opportunities in this passionate field. You will use evidence-based practice and practice-based evidence to prepare for a career at the individual, communal and policy levels. Our classes are rigorous and flexible, designed to meet the demands of your life. We believe we cannot adequately care for others if we don't care for ourselves, which is why self-care is a cornerstone of our social justice curriculum.
