March is designated Social Work Month. Since the 1960s, Social Work Month has been a nationwide event that celebrates the work of social work practitioners, educators, researchers, and students. In honor of the long-standing and significant impact of social workers, the Spalding University School of Social Work (SSW) is proud to host the 2013 Community Celebration of Social Work. This networking reception will celebrate the social work profession and recognize exemplary contributions of social workers to our community. Additionally, the SSW will present the inaugural Social Work Practitioner of the Year Award.
