The Council on Social Work Education’s (CSWE) Annual Planning Meeting (APM) recently concluded in Dallas, Texas. School of Social work faculty members Drs. Jay Miller and Erlene Grise-Owens, and part-time faculty and MSW alumna, Mindy Eaves were among the presenters at this year’s APM . Each was selected, via a peer-review process, to present original research works. APM is the premier national meeting in the social work education field. Each year, more than 2,600 social work educators, administrators, practitioners, students, and other key decision makers from across the country and around the world attend APM, making it the largest gathering of its kind.
“Being selected to present research at the APM is a distinct honor,” says Dr. Miller. “Participating in the APM gives us an opportunity to share contributions that we are striving to make in our field and it affords our faculty a chance to share the unique and exciting things happening in the School of Social Work.”
