Major: Psy.D program

Favorite thing about Spalding: My favorite thing about Spalding is the smaller size of the school where it is possible to meet students, faculty, and administrators on a personal as well as professional level.

Advice to residents: College is a lot of fun but can sometimes be overwhelming. The Counseling Center is a great place to get a little extra support if you need it.

Madison Carrico is a Resident Assistant (RA) on the 3rd floor of Spalding Suites.

Hometown: Fancy Farm, KY

Year in school: Graduate School

Major: Occupational Therapy

Favorite thing about Spalding: My favorite thing about Spalding is that you are never a number, the staff, teachers, students, just about everyone will know your name and they truly care!

Advice to residents: My advice to residents is to stay true to yourself. College is about growth of self and learning who you are. Don’t let that get skewed by trying to fit in with what everyone else is doing, people will like you for who you are if you don’t try so hard to gain their friendship, let it happen!

Callie Howard is a Resident Assistant (RA) on the 2nd floor of Spalding Suites.

Hometown: Louisville, KY

Year in school: Junior

Major: Occupational Therapy

Favorite thing about Spalding: My favorite thing at Spalding University is the six week sessions, they make classes easier and time move by faster. Also, I love how small the classes are, this makes it easier to get help from a professor if needed.

Advice to residents: My advice to you is to schedule morning classes. Scheduling morning classes gives you more time during the day to study and get things done you need to get done.
