This I Believe: Kentucky features 60 essays written by Kentuckians from all walks of life, from world-renowned athletes like Muhammad Ali and Tori Murden McClure, to bestselling authors like Sena Jeter Naslund and Silas House, to an array of students, teachers, farmers, nurses, social workers, and firefighters from throughout the Commonwealth. Edwards has written a foreword for the book and former Courier-Journal Opinion Pages and Book Editor Keith Runyon has written the book’s introduction.
The Nov. 17 event will be recorded and used in several This I Believe segments for upcoming episodes of Edwards’ Sirius XM satellite radio program The Bob Edwards Show and his weekly public radio show Bob Edwards Weekend (heard locally on WFPL-FM).
