Who We Are

Small College, Big City

Study at a small college in a big city. Spalding’s campus is filled with new and modern classroom buildings amidst green spaces and old mansions. Our neighborhood has parks and bike lanes, is on bus routes, is home to families, students, and the elderly. We are near the active waterfront park area and the museums, galleries and nightlife of downtown and NULU neighborhoods. One more sentence about the city. 2,300 students call our campus home.

Discover an Inclusive Community

Discover who you are within a diverse circle of friends and peers. We are an inclusive community full of people who are fundamentally different from one another. At Spalding, we humbly accept each other for who we are.

We are representative. Our campus community reflects a cross-section of society. (Make more specific.)

Spalding has the most racially diverse student body of Kentucky’s private colleges. 33 percent of students self-identify as people of color.

Spalding supports our LGBTQ students by providing a safe space to learn and grow in a community.

For 200 years, Spalding has been the heart of Louisville and home to our students. Let us welcome you home.
