Sandy Ringer is President/CEO of Business Visions Consulting, a business consulting firm with more than twenty-five years of experience in business development and strategy, market research, coaching, leadership change management and Human Resources expertise.
She has developed and implemented strategic plans and programs for over 100 businesses and nonprofits, which have increased sales, restructured organizations, created new business opportunities, and/or developed internal systems to improve management and assist in revenue growth. She has facilitated visioning processes with CEO’s and mentored/coached management teams. Her “partnership” with her clients offers a unique advantage to them. Her experience in consulting includes a broad array of industries – manufacturing, professional services, healthcare and family businesses.
She gained national recognition serving as a United States representative to the USSR under the auspices of The American Center for International Leadership and is also active within her own community. She is a graduate of Leadership Louisville, and was a facilitator of several CEO Roundtables. She is currently a Board member with New Hope Service, a past-chair of the Advisory Board for the Business School at Spalding University, and a member of the National and Local Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM & LSHRM).

I am a graduate of Spalding University’s Doctorate of Leadership Education program. This experience provided me with a strong foundational perspective on the best practices of leadership. As president and founder of HOPE (Helping Other People Excel), LLC, a firm that specializes in leadership development, I put this knowledge into action every day to help leaders move themselves and their organizations forward. Now as an alumni, I serve on Spalding’s School of Business Advisory Board. In my leadership development work with organizations, I see the challenges they are experiencing on a daily basis. I share that knowledge with the board to ensure that Spalding’s Master of Business Communication (MSBC) program is addressing the current needs of business. I also teach in the MSBC program. My main goal with students is to help them transfer knowledge and skills they are learning in the classroom to the boardroom.
Todd Krise, MSBC
Integrated Communications Director
The best way to describe Todd’s professional background is, well, integrated. He has worked for several websites, newspapers, magazines and marketing teams — all geared toward producing an effective plan across all media. Todd develops interactive communications for Vimarc, an advertising agency in Louisville. His responsibilities include content generation, display/social media advertising, marketing automation, and website/mobile app production.
Prior to Vimarc, Todd spent several years with IMG College — the largest collegiate sports marketing firm in the country — where he worked with the NCAA and internal departments to create cross-promotional materials for radio, digital and print campaigns. Todd began his career as a sports journalist for MLB.com and the New Castle News, covering a variety of professional and amateur sports in western Pennsylvania.
Education complements his skills and experience. Todd received a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from West Virginia University in 2008, and is a 2014 graduate of Spalding University’s Master of Science in Business Communication (MSBC) program.
His passion for the city of Louisville and Spalding University continues to grow every day. Todd joined the Spalding School of Business Advisory Board in October 2015, and also is a board member for the Louisville Chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). In fall 2016, Todd will join the Spalding faculty as an adjunct professor, teaching introductory digital marketing courses.
Barry M. Gary, MA, MBA
Director, Staff Development
Barry Gary is the system director, Staff Development at Norton Healthcare. In this role, Barry oversees all staff-related training and development programs. Prior to joining Norton Healthcare, Barry worked as a training and educational leadership consultant with the Head Start Training and Technical Assistance Network, where he was responsible for developing and delivering programs for Head Start and Early Head Start leadership teams to ensure compliance and the delivery quality services in communities across the nation.
Barry brings a wealth of experience to his role, having served as senior partner with Evaluation Works LLC, Louisville; manager, training and development, with Humana Service Center, Louisville; regional training manager with the Michie Co., Charlottesville, Va.; and regional training manager with CCH Inc., Riverwoods, Ill.
Barry holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English/general business and a Master of Arts in rhetoric and composition from Western Kentucky University. He received a Master of Business Administration degree from Bellarmine University.

Katie has a strong track record of success in leading, developing and empowering individuals to new levels of productivity and performance. During her corporate career, Katie held a variety of management and executive positions for companies ranging from innovative technology start-up to traditional manufacturing operation to multi-billion dollar global corporations.
Katie is immediate past president of the Ohio Valley regional chapter of the International Coach Federation and founder of Louisville Coaches CONNECT. In addition to earning a Bachelor’s Degree from Ball State University, Katie has taken graduate level courses at Kellogg School of Management, has received extensive coaching training through Corporate Coach University and The Coaches Training Institute, and was selected as a Leadership Louisville Bingham Fellow in 2009.
Meghan Greenwell, JD

As the Director of Institutional Advancement of the Kentucky College of Art and Design at Spalding University (KyCAD), Meghan Greenwell is an energetic and experienced professional with proven success in fundraising, leadership, development, communications, and community partnership. She is a strategic thinker who utilizes innovative and creative solutions. Prior to joining KyCAD in 2012, she worked as a trust attorney with US Bank Corporate in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Aside from her work at KyCAD, Meghan teaches at Spalding University in the School of Business as an adjunct professor. She is a graduate of the Fund for the Arts’ NeXt! Leadership Development Program, and is a member of the Spalding University School of Business Advisory Board. Her involvement with the Advisory Board is an extension of her advocacy for Spalding University’s School of Business, and the innovative approach they take to educating students for today’s workforce.
Meghan obtained her Bachelors of Arts in International Studies from Centre College in Danville, KY in 2003; and her Juris Doctor from Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, MN in 2006. She went on to receive her Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification in 2007, and a Certificate in Fundraising from Indiana University Lilly Center on Philanthropy in 2012.

Human Resources Manager
Dave is a career human resources professional with 16 years of expertise in employee relations, organizational development/training, and management consulting. He has experience in multiple industries including ground-aerospace maintenance, third party warehouse and logistics, pharmaceutical manufacturing/distribution, plastics manufacturing, medical eligibility/patient financing, and healthcare management.
Prior to moving into human resources, Dave served in the United States Air Force as the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of the Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems Maintenance Shop at Davis-Monthan A.F.B. in Tucson, Arizona.
Finding that most MBA programs did not quite meet his education and flexible scheduling needs, in 2005, he started his graduate degree by enrolling in the very new MSBC program at Spalding University. In 2006, along with his wife Alisha, he consulted with Spalding leaders to develop Spalding’s first new media courses, including COM 250: Computer Mediated Communication, which he developed as his MSBC capstone project and taught as an adjunct instructor for several years. In 2015 he was invited to serve on the School of Business Advisory Board and enjoys engaging with Spalding as an alumnus and local businessperson.
Dave holds an AAS in Systems Engineering, a BS in Business Administration and an MSBC. He lives in Louisville along with his wife Alisha, President of Lead Guild, his son David and daughter Dara. He can be seen regularly hiking parts of the Louisville Loop and occasionally heard volunteering at ARTxFM, WXOX-LP 97.1 FM.

I am a certified Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR) with more than 15 years of experience in Human Resources and Training functions in the manufacturing, distribution, and service industries at single site locations as well as multiple sites within a region of the country. I am known as a caring and positive leader with proven team-building, training, and employee-development abilities; and adept at motivating, mentoring, and communicating with all levels of the organization. I am recognized as being innovative, with a history of assessing organizational needs and developing creative solutions to resolve Human Resources issues.
I am skilled in many areas of the Human Resources function including; recruitment, training, coaching, people development, organizational development, employee relations, performance management, compensation, interpreting company policies and regulatory compliance.
I have held both Human Resources Generalist roles as well as Human Resources Manager roles. I believe this gives me an exceptional ability to understand and apply the synergies of these positions to yield the greatest benefit to my company leaders.
My current role in Human Resources is at Hillerich & Bradsby Company, I report to the Vice-President of Human Resources. I provide Senior Human Resources Generalist duties including: recruiting, training, coaching, benefit administration, employee relations, oversee payrolls, health promotion activities, insuring compliance with legal and corporate guidelines. I have an exceptionally strong track record of success developing innovative HR strategies, leading organizational change, directing the recruitment efforts and managing functions of multiple payrolls.
My passion is working closely with teams and individual team members to understand the business and execute human resource plans that help to drive the business. I love doing this by developing and surrounding myself with great people that have a strong work ethic and that have a desire to help and inspire others as I do.
