Visit Spalding

As an urban, private institution in downtown Louisville, Kentucky, our campus is enriched by the entertaEditinment, internship and service opportunities located just outside our doorstep. We welcome you and your family to engage in the culture of our city and our campus.

We offer a variety of types of visits from individualized tours to group visits. For our adult and transfer students, we can arrange tours around your work or school schedule. Explore our visit options:

I am a high school student

Spalding’s admissions office hosts campus visits at various times throughout the week. Visit times are available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at 10:30 or on Wednesdays at 3:00. The visits are approximately 2 hours in length. Please view the campus visit calendar (to the right of the page) for available dates and times to schedule your visit.

Your campus visit includes:

  • A 60-minute information session, in which an admissions representative will discuss various topics, including academic programs, the application process, campus life, scholarships, and financial aid.
  • A 45-minute tour of campus, where you’ll learn about the history and traditions that have shaped the university. Visit academic buildings, the library and Spalding Suites, our on campus housing facility.
  • An optional departmental visit with a faculty member of a particular major. To accommodate this option, we ask that you make your request two weeks in advance of your visit.

As an athlete, you can learn more about our NCAA Division III athletic programs during an optional meeting with an athletic coach in your sport of interest. So we can arrange your request, two weeks advance notice is required unless you receive prior approval from a coach.

I am a transfer or new to college student

Spalding’s admissions office offers individual appointments for students seeking information about the transfer process. Campus visits are Monday through Friday and generally available from 9:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. To schedule an appointment please call 502-585-9911 or email admissions.

Your campus visit includes:

  • A 60-minute information session, in which an admissions representative will discuss various topics, including academic programs, the application and transfer process, campus life, scholarships, and financial aid.

I am interested in the Adult Accelerated Program

Spalding’s admissions office offers individual appointments for adult learners interested in the Adult Accelerated Program. Campus visits are Monday through Friday, and generally, appointments are available from 9:00 a.m.-5 p.m. To schedule an appointment please call 502-585-9911 or email admissions.

    • A 60-minute information session, in which an admissions representative will discuss various topics, including academic programs, the application process, scholarships, and financial aid.

Experience Spalding Day

Experience Spalding Day provides an opportunity for an in-depth visit. Students will sit in on a class, meet current students, get information on financial aid and scholarships, tour campus, and experience what it is like to be a Spalding student. Experience Spalding Day has been rescheduled for  Wednesday, March 4th. Register for Experience Spalding Day on the campus visit calendar (to the right of the page).

SU to You

Get your last minute admissions and financial aid questions answered when SU comes to public libraries in your community. We have nine libraries that you can choose from. All SU to You days will be in an open-house format from 6:00-8:30 p.m. To register for SU to You you can click here.
