Steven D. Kniffley, Jr., Psy.D. ’13, recently published his second book, Knowledge of Self: Understanding the Mind of the Black Male. Kniffley says, “The text
explores the psychological underpinnings of some of the challenges that black men face and provides a theoretically guided clinical intervention section for helping professionals.” The book is available for purchase here.
Kniffley is currently a post-doctoral psychology fellow at Cambridge Health Alliance/Harvard Medical School and co-director of the West Louisville Health Coalition, Inc. He is also co-author of The Black Man’s Guide to Graduate School.
