Bachelor of Science in Accounting

If you are analytical and have a strong business sense, a career in accounting may be right for you. A bachelor’s degree in accounting prepares you with the financial tools and decision-making skills to work in non-profit, government or the private sector. Double major: you can earn dual bachelor’s degrees in business administration and accounting in 120 credit hours.

Early admission to the Master in Business Communication: you may begin the program as an undergraduate and earn up to nine graduate hours, giving you a head start on your master’s degree.

Pathway to the CPA: Earn your bachelor’s degree and the Master in Business Communication – accounting concentration in five years and be prepared to sit for the certified public accountant (CPA) exam.

Employment of accountants and auditors is projected to grow 11 percent from 2014 to 2024.

With a bachelor’s degree in accounting, you will be eligible to sit for certified public accountant (CPA) examination. Or you can use your degree to land one of a variety of positions in the private sector:
