Kathleen Driskell, professor and associate program director of Spalding’s brief-residency Master of Fine Arts in Writing, will be reading from her most recent publication, Peck and Pock: A Graphic Poem as part of the February InKY reading series, which also features literature from writer and actor Elena Passarello and music by Twisted Sisters.

Kathleen Driskell serves as the Associate Program Director of Spalding University’s brief-residency MFA in Writing in Louisville, Kentucky, where she is Professor of Creative Writing. She is the author of three full-length books of poetry: Laughing Sickness, Seed Across Snow (a national bestseller), and Blue Etiquette (forthcoming from Red Hen Press), and a short publication entitled Peck and Pock: A Graphic Poem. She is an editor of The Louisville Review, and her poems have been featured in What Comes Down to Us: 25 Contemporary Kentucky Poets, The Kentucky Anthology, The Southern Review, Rattle, and North American Review.
