Spalding Screening Site for International Film Festival

As a sponsor of the 5th annual Louisville International Festival of Film (LIFF), Spalding University will screen seven films from around the world on October 11-12.  The viewings will take place in the Egan Leadership Center Lectorium located at 901 S. Fourth Street. The screening schedule will be:

Friday, Oct. 11

5 p.m. – Only Daughter (1 hr: 39 min)

Saturday, Oct. 12

10 a.m. – La Redempcio dels Peixos (1 hr: 28 min)

12 p.m. – Brothers Hypnotic (1 hr: 26 min)

1:30 p.m. – Missed Connections (1 hr: 10 min)

3 p.m. – Kundalini (:08 min)

3:30 p.m. – Black Bird (:20 min)

4 p.m. – The Suspect (1 hr: 38 min)

LIFF is an opportunity for independent filmmakers around the world to publicly present their work. It is also an opportunity to promote Louisville as a destination place for film production. According to event organizer Louisville Film Arts Institute’s website, “Louisville’s International Festival of Film (LIFF) is committed to screening artistic films not usually presented through commercial venues, giving indie filmmakers a place to showcase their work. Festival proceeds will be used by the Louisville Film Arts Institute (LFAI) to fund education/training of future filmmakers in Metro Louisville and the Commonwealth of Kentucky.”
