From Errors to Advocacy: Strengthening Nursing for Safer Care

Join Spalding School of Nursing’s Graduate Program and the Iota Gamma Chapter of Sigma Honor Society for From Errors to Advocacy: Strengthening Nursing for Safer Care continuing education event. This impactful event features two speakers — one sharing her personal experience with a serious medical error and its lasting consequences, and another highlighting the advocacy and legislative efforts of the Kentucky Nurses Association (KNA) to promote safer work environments for nurses. In lieu of payment, attendees are encouraged to donate school supplies, children’s books, etc which will benefit Family and Children’s Place. Attendees will receive a 2-hour CE for attending the event.
