Undergraduate Cost of Attendance
Undergraduate tuition is calculated at a flat rate for standard full-time status. Enrollment above or below the standard full-time status is calculated by the credit hour. Tuition rates are reviewed each year and may be subject to annual increases.

*You must submit a deposit to secure your room and receive a housing assignment. You will not receive your housing assignment until you pay the deposit. This deposit will be applied as a payment to the student account reducing the balance due for the first semester that you live on campus. You need to submit this deposit once for each academic year. You do not need to submit it each semester. The Housing Preference Form will instruct you on how to pay the deposit.
** This fee supports health and wellness services and education.
***The AI Access Fee supports student access to secure, enterprise‑level artificial intelligence platforms that are licensed and managed by the University and integrated into teaching, learning, and student support services. These institutionally provided AI tools go beyond free public versions by offering enhanced functionality, privacy protections, and academic oversight.

Cost of Attendance is not the actual cost that most students pay. Instead, this number includes the Direct Costs paid to Spalding University and the Indirect Costs students are likely to incur during their college experience, such as personal expenses. Direct costs are noted with an asterisk.

Online Cost of Attendance
Online tuition is calculated per credit hour. In some cases, it varies by program. Tuition rates are reviewed annually and may increase.

In addition to direct costs, the university has a $100 per semester fee for health and counseling services and a $50 per semester AI Access fee.
