Live Where You Learn. Grow Where You Live.

Living on campus is more than just a place to stay, it’s a key part of your Spalding experience. Research shows that students who live on campus tend to do better academically, develop stronger connections, and gain greater independence.

At Spalding, our Residence Life team is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment that helps every Golden Eagle thrive.

First-year students and students age 23 and under are eligible to live in Spalding Suites. Space is limited, and students are encouraged to apply early for on-campus housing. Additional campus housing options are available for upperclassmen and graduate students through our Living Learning Communities.

Students who are over the age of 23 may apply for consideration for additional housing. Please note that eligibility is limited to currently enrolled students, and additional housing is not designed or approved for family-style living arrangements.

Spalding University believes that the opportunities for learning from others, for developing social and interpersonal skills and for personal growth are greatly enhanced by on-campus residency. All full-time undergraduate students under the age of 21 or with less than 89 credit hours are required to live in the residence halls or with a local parent/legal guardian (within a 60-mile radius of campus). Full-time undergraduate students under the age of 21 or with less than 89 credit hours must request a housing exemption at the link below.
