Admissions Process for International Students
Step 1: Submit Your Application
Complete the online application and ensure all required fields are filled in accurately.
Step 2: Provide Required Documents
The following documents are required to process your application:
- Academic Transcripts: Submit official transcripts from all secondary schools, colleges, or universities attended. Any international credits need to be evaluated and translated by another company who evaluates international transcripts.” We accept the evaluated transcript from the following sources:

- English Proficiency Test Scores: Provide one of the following test scores to demonstrate English proficiency:
- TOEFL: Minimum score of 79 (iBT)
- IELTS: Minimum score of 6.5
- Duolingo English Test: Minimum score of 105
- ACT English sub-score of 18 or higher
- SAT I Critical Reading score of 450 or higher
- AP: English Language and Composition score of 4 or higher
- IB: 5 or higher on the English Language and Literature exam
- Completing one of the following:
- Completing 2 consecutive years of full-time high school in the United States, or a high school where English is the primary language of instruction, with a grade of C or higher in English. Official transcripts required, or…
- Students with post-secondary experience may also demonstrate proficiency through the completion of two consecutive years of full-time university/college in the United States, or where English is the primary language of instruction, with a grade of C or higher in the equivalent of ENG 109 or ENG 110.

- Proof of Financial Support: Submit a copy of a certified bank statement or affidavit of support to demonstrate the ability to cover tuition and living expenses.
- Copy of Passport: Provide a clear copy of the biographical page of your passport.
Step 3: Receive Your Admission Decision
Once we receive all required documents, your application will be reviewed by the Admissions Office. You will be notified of your admission status via email. You may email admissions@spalding.edu with any questions.
Step 4: Apply for Your Student Visa
After admission, you will work directly with our International Student Services team. They will guide you through applying for your F-1 Visa or transferring your records from another US institution.
