Dr. Lederer taught in the Auerbach School of Occupational Therapy from to August 2024. He received his MS in Occupational Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University and his Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of New Mexico. Dr. Lederer practiced in a variety of settings including rehabilitation and home health. He also provided school-based occupational therapy services in both urban and rural communities for several years. His research interests included strategies to effectively include students and adults with disabilities in the community as well as developing occupational therapy services in community settings. He was licensed to practice OT in Kentucky and Florida and is a member of AOTA and KOTA. He also served as a reviewer for the American Journal of Occupational Therapy (AJOT). During his tenure at Spalding University, his teaching responsibilities included Fundamentals of OT and theories.
