About Sam

Sam Klein is an Adjunct Professor in the Masters of Science in Athletic Training Program and Spalding’s Health Science undergraduate program. Sam has been practicing as an athletic trainer since 2019, when she graduated from Spalding’s MSAT Program. She has served as an athletic trainer for multiple professional sports teams including Racing Louisville FC, the Cincinnati Reds, and the Louisville Kings; she has also spent time as an athletic trainer at Spalding and is currently in her 4th year as Head Athletic Trainer at Ballard High School in Louisville.

Sam was born and raised in Louisville, KY and attended Spalding and played softball while also studying for her bachelors and masters degrees. She enjoys being able to teach the new generation of athletic trainers while also serving the program that shaped her.
