Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at Spalding University prepares students to lead in health care or excel in graduate study. Each student works with a dedicated nursing success coach through program completion as they navigate 59 credit hours of coursework, 750 clinical hours and preparation for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) exam.

BSN Courses

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing coursework prepares students with the scientific knowledge and clinical experiences they need to enter professional practice. Coursework includes classes in the liberal arts, such as psychology, English and philosophy.

Students complete anatomy and physiology, microbiology and pathophysiology course work as part of their pre-nursing curriculum. Once accepted into the program, students are trained in health assessment, maternal-newborn nursing and nursing pharmacology.
