Clubs & Organizations

Leadership & Interest Groups

  • Student Government Association (SGA): Official executive and legislative branch of the student body.
  • Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA): To see the world transformed by Jesus Christ and through the influence of coaches and athletes. Spalding’s FCA chapter meets every Monday at 7:00 PM.
  • Campus Activities Board (CAB): Students facilitating student events, for students! Quality, fun, and educational events.
  • Underground Artist Movement: Students promote a creative and productive life through higher education in the visual arts.
  • Alpha Kappa Alpha, Sorority: is the oldest Greek-letter organization established by African American college-educated women, founded at Howard University in 1908. It is an international service organization driven by its motto, “By Culture and By Merit,” and a core commitment to “Service to All Mankind.” On campus, the local chapter actively promotes high scholastic standards, strong sisterhood, and impactful community leadership.
  • Zeta Phi Beta Sorority – Tau Rho Chapter: This Greek Letter Organization is organized on the principals of Scholarship, Service, Sisterly Love and Finer Womanhood.
  • Delta Sigma Theta Sorority: Louisville City Wide Chapter
  • Cheer Club: Our program is built for passionate athletes who want to represent Spalding both on the sidelines and on the competition floor. Whether we’re energizing the crowd at campus events or preparing for competitive cheer opportunities, our team is dedicated to excellence, growth, and school pride. We have a competitive team through UCA and a sideline team.

Professional & Academic Groups

  • Natural Science Student Association (NSSA): Student leg organization made up of Natural Science majors to organize events that would be of interest to natural science majors.
  • Spalding University Multicultural Psychology Association (SUMPA): Professional academic organization dedicated to advancing multicultural awareness through research, scholarship, and community outreach.
  • Spalding University Nursing Students (SUNS): Provides programs on recent advances in health care and networking opportunities with other health care professionals.
  • Student Ambassador Program: Provides opportunity for students to build their resume, develop leadership skills, and communication skills while showing their Spalding pride. Ambassadors work with Spalding’s Admissions office to assist counselors with campus visits and other recruiting events.
  • Physical Therapy Club: brings together current physical therapy and pre-physical therapy students who share an interest in the profession. Members participate in social and volunteer activities that foster community, professional growth, and service. The club also provides opportunities for students to meet local physical therapists and participate in mentorship experiences that support exploration of the profession and preparation for future careers.
  • Pre-Vet Club: Provides a welcoming setting for students who share a passion for animals, aspire to attend veterinary school, and want to connect with others while discovering and sharing new opportunities.
