To apply to a graduate program in our College of Education, you must complete an online application. In addition, your program of choice may require additional information. See your program’s specific admission requirements:
A bachelor’s degree or advanced degree awarded by a regionally accredited college or university with a cumulative grade point average of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale; or a grade point average of 3.00 on a 4.0 scale on the last thirty (30) hours of credit completed, including undergraduate and graduate coursework
Evidence that the applicant has reviewed: The Professional Code of Ethics for Kentucky School Certified Personnel established in 16 KAR 1:020
Evidence that the applicant has reviewed: The character and fitness questionnaire contained in Section III of the TC-1 incorporated by reference in 16 KAR 2:010
MAT candidates interested in the Alternative Certification route must first be admitted into the College of Education. Upon admittance into the College of Education, MAT candidates may request a meeting with the Director of Initial Certification Programs to learn more about the Alternative Certification route.
