MSBC vs MBA

Why pursue your MSBC instead of an MBA?

Employers consistently rank written, oral and presentation skills as the most desired characteristics in new hires. Unlike MBA programs, our MSBC program is an integrated business curriculum with a focus on the development of these communication skills. We collaborate with business leaders in the community to ensure we are delivering the most in-demand business education in the marketplace.

Career Opportunities

Earning a master’s degree can significantly improve your lifetime earnings and employability. Higher-level job opportunities tend to focus less on technical expertise and more on leadership – i.e. the ability to build and lead a team, analyze and present information, make good decisions and plan strategically.

Our MSBC program is designed to complement your technical skills. You’ll walk away with the necessary management, leadership and communication knowledge and skills needed to move up the career ladder—no matter your academic or professional background.
