Obtaining my doctorate in Psychology from Spalding University was one of the best decisions I made in preparing for a career with the Bureau of Prisons. The forensic track put me leaps above my co-workers in truly understanding criminal behavior and systematic impact. And, I also found immense value in the generalist clinical training (especially trauma!), variety of practicum sites, and in-depth supervisory experience.
