At Spalding University, our Campus Ministry is a space for spiritual growth, connection, and service. Join us for prayer groups, retreats, Bible study, interfaith events, and community outreach.
Sister Katie Cummings, our campus minister, will guide the Spalding community in maintaining its Catholic identity while ensuring everyone in our community feels welcome and valued.

Campus Ministry at Spalding University plays a vital role in fostering spiritual growth and community engagement among students. While rooted in Catholic traditions, Campus Ministry at Spalding is open to individuals of all faiths and beliefs.Sister Katie is committed to offering spiritual guidance, hosting faith-based activities, and serving as a trusted, confidential resource for students in need of support.


Opportunities to Grow and Engage
Spalding Campus Ministry offers a variety of faith-based opportunities to connect, reflect, and grow:
- Worship Services: Participate in weekly Catholic Mass and other worship services (more info coming soon.)
- 1 on 1 Meetings: Meet with Sr. Katie to talk about faith, spirituality, or where you want in life. All faiths and spiritual paths are welcome!
- Bible Studies: Join engaging discussions that bring scripture to life.
- Student Organizations: Connect with others through fellowship and shared values.
- The Spalding Chapter of FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) meets every Monday at 7pm. They are open to all Christians active in the athletic program. For more information or to join, contact student leader Emma Livingston.
About Sister Katie + Get Involved
Sister Katie Cummings, OSB is a Benedictine sister from Ferdinand, Indiana. She lives in Louisville with three other sisters and enjoys exploring local coffee shops, attending concerts, and propagating houseplants.
Sister Katie would love to hear from you! She is dedicated to creating a warm, inclusive environment where everyone can find spiritual support.
