Here to Help You
Bridge to SU Program
We, here at Spalding, recognize that the transition to college can have its challenges. That’s why we have created the Bridge to SU Program for incoming freshmen. This program will help to prepare you for college life, and you will participate in service learning in the local community. Kentucky residents are eligible for a grant to cover the cost of the program (not including housing). This program’s meant to provide extra support to make college more equitable and increase student success for students with disabilities, 1st gen students, low income students, or other groups that need support.
Student Success Center
We’ve created a space where you can energize your learning and thrive both academically and socially. The new Student Success Center, located on the second floor of the Spalding Library, is home to the Math Lab, Reading Lab and Writing Center.
In addition to academic support services, the Center will host student success coach programming. Whether you choose to use our services or not, the center is a comfortable, common space for all students to hang out and enjoy our electronic gaming room and common area.
Academic Advising
Academic advising is a key component of your student success. Our academic advisors are here to help guide you along your educational journey. We’ll meet with you one-on-one to discuss the best pathway to earning your degree from Spalding University.
Whether you schedule an advising appointment online or reach out to us directly, we’re here to point you in the right direction.
