Jill GainesJill earned her BS in Business Administration and Accounting at Spalding University and went on to earn her MS in Business Communication with a concentration in Non-Profit Management. In addition, she completed all of her degrees as a non-traditional adult learner. She is a proponent of lifelong learning and has the privilege of working with professional adults in both undergraduate and graduate programs at Spalding University. Jill prides herself in promoting and empowering women both professionally and personally. She is on the Associate Board of Maryhurst and hopes to make a difference in meeting the needs for the kiddos at Maryhurst. Jill is graduate and active member of the Leadership Louisville community. She also serves on the Alumna Association Board at Assumption High School in Louisville, Ky.

Joyce JanczyJoyce has been working in higher education since she graduated from college. She is a lifelong learner and advocate for others pursing their dreams of attending college and obtaining their undergraduate degree. She loves working with incoming students and their families, helping them find the school that is their perfect fit.  She enjoys helping others in any way possible to make the college enrollment process smooth. She does not believe there is any such thing as a dumb question and encourages families to think through every aspect of their college decision.

Jeff DicksonJeff has been working in higher education since 2018 and has been with Spalding since 2021, beginning as a Transfer Admissions Counselor before moving into his current role in April 2022. As the Enrollment Technology Coordinator he gets to work closely with various departments around campus, including Marketing and Information Technology, to help the Admissions Counselors best meet the needs of their students.

Rachel BischoffRachel is a Louisville native who is passionate about helping students achieve their academic and professional goals. With a background in secondary education and a dedication to promoting educational access in Kentucky, she is grateful for the opportunity to support students in their academic careers at Spalding. She holds a MA in English from Wake Forest University and a BA in English and Dramatic Arts from Centre College.

Chelsey BlechaChelsey earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and is currently working towards her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is eager to combine nursing education and passion for higher education to inspire students. As an admissions counselor, her goal is to positively impact the lives of students by providing guidance, answering any questions, and connecting students with all the resources they need.

Eva CashEva earned her bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University in 2022. She is new to higher education but is excited to help students pursue their dreams. Eva has spent time in the tourism industry as well as the education field and hopes her unique background can give prospective students a new and unparalleled way to see their college search. She aspires to share her insightful and optimistic views on college life to ensure an individualized experience for everyone.

Morgan DoolinMorgan Doolin has recently earned her Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from Spalding University and has joined the Admissions team with a focus on first-year undergraduate students. Morgan is passionate about helping others make decisions that support their personal development and aligns with goals or expectations they have for their undergraduate experience. She believes that Spalding is a place that fosters an environment of community and support that encourages personal growth and goal achievement as well as an education that prepares a student to enter their post-graduate ventures as a well-rounded member of society.

Colin HaleyColin is a Massachusetts native who has recently joined the Spalding team as our Nursing Pathway Coordinator. A graduate of The College of Saint Rose (Albany, NY) with a Bachelors in Communication, Colin has over 20 years of experience working in Recruiting. Job Development and Career Coaching in both the public and private sectors. Colin is passionate about working with and assisting people in achieving their secondary educational goals for a better future. Colin understands the importance of education and will go above and beyond to ensure students who have chosen this path will be successful in achieving their goals.

Samantha KeySamantha Key earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from IU Southeast and is currently pursuing a Masters of Art in School Counseling at Spalding University. She began her time at Spalding in September of 2021 working with first-time freshman through the college admissions process. Recently, she began a new position working with non-traditional and transfer students interested in going back to school. Samantha also oversees Undergraduate International Admissions and has a passion for supporting and guiding students through their first steps of higher education.

Jenna KosteckiJenna has joined the Admissions Team at Spalding University working with First-Time/Traditional Students. Her primary focus is helping students achieve their academic goals by providing guidance through the college selection and admissions process. Jenna is a recent graduate from University of Louisville in Communication and a former DIII athlete. She has a friendly and kind-hearted personality that enables her to articulate and convey to all prospective students the information needed to make informed and sensible decisions about their own college endeavors. When not at Spalding University, Jenna is helping coach the Assumption High School women’s cross country team.

Mahlon RameyMahlon is an Elizabethtown native and a former collegiate athlete. He has worked in the field of higher education since 2018 with KCTCS while being a full-time student at ECTC. His primary focuses were within various TRIO programs, working closely with first-generation students, low-income student and high school seniors wanting to major in STEM programs. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Communication from Kentucky Wesleyan College. Mahlon is also very passionate about helping students have access to the resources that they need to achieve academic greatness. He would love to be a safe and welcoming space for Spalding students to come to with any questions or concerns they may have regarding their college career.

Cole VanceCole Vance earned his Bachelor of Science in Communication from Spalding University, playing soccer for the Golden Eagles and graduating in 2022. He’s new to working within higher education but is excited to have the opportunity to introduce students to Spalding. Cole believes that Spalding is a great place to learn and will strive to give transfer and non-traditional students a path that best fits their needs for success.

Elizabeth SimmonsElizabeth has worked in the field of higher education for over 17 years, 15 of those have been with Spalding University. Her attention to detail and orderly manner is what keeps the day to day process of gathering and maintaining the student’s information seamless, during their application process. She prides herself on accuracy and swiftness, as she knows the process of applying to college can be an anxious time for anyone.
