As Nonprofit Day approaches, we are shining a light on nonprofit organizations for their ongoing service and dedication to making a difference in our communities. In our nonprofit blog series, we’d like to break down the difference between nonprofits and not-for-profit organizations, while exploring a few nonprofits housed on or near Spalding’s campus.

Spalding University today announced that it has joined an ambitious initiative designed to help students access the skills and credentials necessary to succeed in high-demand tech industry careers. Through the program, powered by tech talent accelerator SkillStorm, Spalding students, alumni, community members, and staff can take courses that lead to industry-recognized credentials from major tech companies including AWS, Salesforce, CompTIA, and Pega.
