Bachelor of Science in Health Science

Our Bachelor of Science in Health Science prepares students to work in healthcare systems or organizations providing health-related services to individuals, groups or communities. There are also pathways to help students transition into a graduate program in health science, occupational therapy, physical therapy, athletic training or nursing.

Master of Science in Health Science

Our Master of Science in Health Science combines the best of traditional and complementary therapies. Graduates will be equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to promote comprehensive wellbeing and work in various healthcare, wellness and community settings.

Pathways

Athletic Training

Entry-Level Athletic Training is a 3 + 2 program which prepares students to complete degree requirements after the Junior Year and begin Athletic Training graduate degree courses in their senior year. Upon receiving the bachelor’s degree, students continue for the final year in the Athletic Training graduate program.

Occupational Therapy

We offer two pathways for students interested in pursuing a doctorate in occupational therapy. Preparation for Occupational Therapy is designed for students wishing to apply for the Doctor of Occupational Therapy upon graduation. Our OTA to BSHS is a program designed to fast-track occupational therapy assistants into the Doctor of Occupational Therapy program.

Physical Therapy

Early Entry Physical Therapy is a 3 + 3 option for students to enter the Doctor of Physical Therapy program after their junior year. Students are awarded the Bachelor of Science in Health Science degree after completing the first year DPT program coursework.
