Submit your $100 deposit to lock in your place in the incoming class. You may submit your enrollment deposit anytime through your applicant portal.

Traditional first-year students are required to live in the residence halls unless they meet certain exemption requirements.

Make your housing deposit, if you plan to live on campus. Your housing application cannot be submitted until you submit the payment information.

In June, you will receive an email from Residence Life with your housing assignment as well as information about move–in and items required to live on campus. 

In mid-August, move into your new campus home. First-year students move in on August 19, 2026.

Before August 1st, you must submit a final official transcript that includes the month, day and year of graduation. Final official transcripts must be sent to us directly from your high school and can be submitted:

Dual Credit Classes: Please have an official college/university transcript sent to Spalding so that you can get credit for your Dual Credit classes. You can submit your transcripts 1 of 2 ways:

AP Test Scores: Once you receive your AP test scores and you earned a 3, 4, or 5, please send the scores to Spalding:

You’ll receive an email with your university-issued ID number and instructions to set up your Spalding email account and SU student portal.

Sign up for your preferred date will be available in your applicant portal. This is a one-day event to welcome first-year students and their families to campus to meet the people who will help them prepare for the beginning of their journey as a Spalding Golden Eagle.

The dates for BeSU 2026 are:

• Saturday, May 16
• Friday, June 12
• Friday, June 26

After students pay their enrollment deposit and register for BeSU, they will need to schedule with their academic advisor to schedule their first year classes. Students will receive an email with a scheduling link to schedule their advising appt. All incoming first-year students work with the Academic Advising office over the summer on schedules.

In mid-August, move into your new campus home. Be on the lookout for more details from Residence Life. First-year students move in on August 19, 2026.

First-year students will build social connections with each other and student leaders through a variety of engaging activities and educational sessions that will aid first year students in their transition to student life at Spalding. Orientation will be on August 21 and 22, 2026.

During the first week of classes, join in on the fun with food, entertainment and giveaways organized by campus departments and student clubs.

After the start of fall classes, attend Convocation, a Spalding tradition to inspire and excite new students to live out Spalding’s mission.
