Commencement Countdown | Q&A with Jeremy Lanham

Amanda Lucas

Jeremy Lanham will earn his bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in management on June 2. Lanham talks about the memories he’s made while at Spalding as well as the support he has received.

What is your favorite Spalding memory?

Lanhman: My favorite Spalding memories were made over the span of all the soccer trips I took with my teammates. From the buses breaking down to the late nights in the hotel rooms, these were some of the best memories with a great group of guys.

What accomplishments are you most proud of during your time at Spalding?

During my time at Spalding I’ve accomplished many things such as winning the regular season championship for the men’s soccer team, excelling in the classroom, getting an internship at GE Appliances and now making it my full-time job, and of course, graduating from college.

What is your favorite spot on campus?

My favorite spot on campus was the University Center. It is a great place to do anything you want from lifting weights in the weight room to playing ping pong and pool, and of course, there was always a place to study. I also liked the fact that it was a historical place for Muhammad Ali.

Is there anything else that you would like to share?

I really enjoyed my years at Spalding and met some of my best friends here. I’ve made memories that I will keep forever, and I really enjoyed how much the professors cared for the students. They made me the person I am today. I would like to thank all the faculty and staff for all their support as well as my friends, family and girlfriend. I wouldn’t be here without you guys! It truly has been a great four years at Spalding and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
